Florida boaters have found more cocaine in the Gulf of Mexico after recent storms, this time worth more than a half-million dollars.
On Monday, boaters came across a microwave-sized package covered in barnacles off Panther Key near Port of the Islands.

The boaters turned the package over to authorities, who said it contained 56 pounds of cocaine worth $625,000. They said they believe the package, found stuck in mangroves, had been blown in by recent Hurricane Debby.
This comes a little over a week after a good samaritan turned in $1 million worth of cocaine on a Florida beach in the wake of the storm.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office posted on its Facebook page that they "appreciate the help of Good Samaritans" and are investigating the new package found.

Imagine how much they’re NOT finding

This begs the question, would you hand it over to the cops?

Title should read “Florida boaters turn in most of the packages of cocaine then take off work for the next 8 months”

I wouldn't know how to unload that much product.

so is this like finding cash where you get to keep to keep it if it's not claimed in a certain amount of time?

Did anyone see me snag it? If I know nobody saw me, I would not be giving it to the cops to brag about on a social media post & probably steal from.
Destroy or sell. That is the moral dilemma.

Why are they turning it over?
I guess if you don’t know anyone that can actually do something with that, you would get scared to try and sell it

As far as I know cocaine doesn’t have an expiration date. Seems like a guy could sell it over time and supplement a guy’s income.

There’s no way I’m trying to sell that. Whoever is the owner will no doubt find out where it is and kill you.

And the fact some people definitely will not be turning it in.

100% pure too. You could double that amount and sell it after it's cut

Destroy? frick that.
Sell or just keep moving as though you never saw it. Destroy has all of the drawbacks of turning it over to LEO without any of the benefits.

Wow. I hope the dealers had insurance on that shipment.

Find a weed guy, his supplier would know a guy who would take it all
