re: Floormats: WeatherTech or Husky

I've had Husky already in a couple of cars I bought and liked them. I priced them for my current ride, and had some sticker shock.
Bought some $50 ones off Amazon. I had to cut them, and they're not a perfect fit, but they do the trick. I imagine I'll have to replace them in a year or so, but I'd have to replace them 8 or 9 times to be out of pocket the Husky ones.
OT poor here. or just a cheapskate.

I have WeatherTech in my pickup - front and rear. They’re 6 years old and are still looking just fine. I’ve never had any from Husky.

I have some weathertech ones that I purchased a week after I bought my truck and my carpet still looks brand new four years later. Never had husky but they look similar.
You should do a comparison for us.

Either will be ok.
If you don’t like the first kind, get the other one.
Atleast you will know which is better that way

Husky, and I've owned both. The WT emblems are glued down and don't handle Louisiana heat very well. Mine came off.

I buy the ones from the vehicle manufacturer.
My Tahoe came with factory all weather mats and they're much better looking than the Weather Techs that my SIL gave me.
The WT ones are hard plastic. The factory ones are made of rubber and just look better.

I bought the Gator brand this time.
Light years above the weathertechs. They are more pliable and a little thicker. I have no experience with Husky

Hopefully better made than their door panels and dashboards.

Floormats
Old Walmart sacks and duct tape has always worked for me. I don't see any reason to go getting all fancy with it.
Tip for young gamers: Use two layers of sacks. You will thank me later.
ETA: An inexperienced youth may be tempted to use staples or glue. But the staples tear the delicate plastic, and glue only makes it harder to replace your mats. Duct tape is King for a reason. Use it.

Why not just get the manufacturer floor mats? From Chevy/Toyota/GMC. They all make them to fit their cars.

Husky! They replaced worn out 3 y.o. mats no sweat-box em up, send em back. New ones in a week, never asked for proof of purchase.

Looking at WeatherTech mats for an F-150 with bench seating in front row...should I get the long mat that goes over the hump (like the top mat below), or just get two individual mats for front seats?
