I appreciate it but it’s pretty deep on the road especially with a baby. Don’t feel to comfortable walking. Large bayou/drain at front of the neighborhood

Assuming this is Landsberry? If you go the other side down the side street how is that?

I was parked behind JT elementary for 2 hours. Was just able to drive to my house 40 minutes ago. Water is dropping.

If you have to, grab some Tupperware type containers and anything with a tight lid, or ziplocs to put stuff in. Cram it all in a trash bag if you have to walk out. May help the bag float so you can "drag" it. Empty milk gallon jug etc.

Is the water still rising or has it settled out? Do you live on street backing up to canal?

I just saw that there are boats all in the area making rescues. Locals are taking to the streets with boats. But they don't have a dispatch system. Make yourself visible/heard and let them know you have an infant.

Open a couple of windows so you can get some cross breeze through if it starts to get a little warm. Plus, if you see or hear anyone outside, call for them. Let someone know you're there.
