The people who went through this in Katrina know.
This isn't insurmountable. This is gonna be a blip on the radar in 5 years.
It sucks that people didn't evacuate for this. So much damage as a result.

To be fair, this wasn't like a hurricane; nobody had too much advance warning. They certainly weren't expecting this much water.
Damage would've been, outside of personal effects, about the same, IMO.
