Flixbus or Megabus?

Trying to book a short trip to Houston for an elderly person who doesn’t want to fly.
Flixbus fee is 5 bucks while Mega is $30. Why the big difference?

I ain't paying $5 for a bus ride for a loved one. I wouldn't feel comfortable about that shite at all. How well do you know said elder?

I don’t know but that is cheap as hell. I wouldn’t do it for an elderly person as it might be terrible for them.

Lol at people acting like a $30 is some luxury light-years above the $5 one. Buses are for trash who can't even afford spirit.

Spirit on random Tuesdays can get as low as $27. I've been on plenty of $45 Spirit flights to Houston. There is never any wait at all going through both terminals. I get there 15 minutes before my flights

I took Megabus from Boston to NYC for $15. It was fine.

Megabus was fine in DC but the clientele is a bit better than here
