They can co-exist, Kwik Trip is a great speedy gas station and Buc-ee's is a destination.
They've been building some that are essentially smallish grocery stores, compared to Wally anyway, with gas pumps out front.
Pretty nice and if you don't mind spending a bit more saves a load of time over hiking through the Spanish speakers at Wal Mart.

Every time I want to remind myself on how bad Walmart is i go to one when I'm in Lincoln. It's like 50% Arab and Mexican trash with 25% ghetto trash and the rest normal people.

People in the south can’t really appreciate the greatness of Fleet Farm until they’ve seen one in person.

Culver’s is kinda mid to me. Not bad but there’s other places I like much better. Chiefly Freddy’s

Spotted Cow is the greatest gift Wisconsin has given the world.
Menards is bad arse too.
Wally's is better than Buccees.

Spotted Cow isn’t even the best beer that New Glarus makes. It’s in the bottom half of their offerings. It’s just the popular one. Let the outsiders rave about it and we’ll keep the better brews to ourselves.
If you don’t have Culver’s oversaturation I can see where it would be something to rave about. If you are surrounded by them they can be pretty “meh.” Far better places to go for burgers, cheese curds, fish, etc. and those places are cheaper and locally owned.

How does it work? My receipt didn't mention eligibility for the 11%. Assumed it was on certain items or certain time of year

I go visit my mom in owasso Oklahoma
And I go to braums and to whataburger every time
And they kick the dogs shite out of Culvers
Whataburger is a fast-food burger joint out of Texas.
Braums is an "ice cream and dairy" store which is a miniature grocery store.
They make their burgers cook to order. They aren't "fast food" in the same sense as Whataburger, although they do have drive-up service.
There is not a whole lot of difference in my opinion between a Braums burger and a Sonic burger.

Braums is not "fast food" in my book. See above.

I’ll say this about braums. They have the most efficient group ordering process I’ve ever seen. We have a xc meet every year where we have to stop and grab lunch after. We usually do braums and haven’t had a bad experience. Everyone gets their correct order, staff is all nice and efficient, just nothing complicated.
We were late getting there this year and they were already packed so I had to take the kids to the McDonald’s across the street. I wanted to shoot myself. Orders fricked up everywhere. They found that to be a good time to bring the kid that just started a couple days ago up to the register to handle it. It took an act of God for them to take my tax exempt that I can’t pay using a school card without (mainly because no one but the manager had ever even heard of “tax exempt” before). Just insanely awful all around.
