Everyone's fleeing to florida, I'd look elsewhere. Alabama's nice, for some reason seems to fly under a lot of radars. Some wealthier parts of Mississippi

Don't remain on the gulf coast area. Move to Montana, Utah, or Idaho. Never look back.

Lots of people in my circle are debating leaving currently. Poor leadership, crime out of control, and even the private schools have gone covid crazy. We’re discussing having a fourth child, and I just don’t want to do that here. It’s time.

It is. I've gone there many times for a quick vacation. The community is top notch.

Spanish Fort is also worth a look IMO if you’re looking for a suburban feel.

We had a long talk about Fayetteville the other day. Place is really taking off like others say?

Here's what Fairhopians (or whatever they're called) say about Daphne... "No one lives in Daphne".

No shite, they say that. All the while, the same sort of "affordable housing" that's all over Daphne and Spanish Fort is taking over Fairhope.

The OP is better off in Madisonville.

Where do your parents/in laws live?
Do you intend on sending them to private or public schools?

What are your hobbies? Hunting, fishing, golf, sports, beach?

With 3 young kids what about Disney?

Personally I would think about buying land in Florida, state is growing like a weed. I love to hunt and fish so I would look near the flint river valley and buy some extremely fertile game-rich land honestly

Yeah screw all that. Maybe for a summer home, but I'm not about to put up with those winters.

Gulf Breeze. I’m not conservative but it is a great area with great schools. If I didn’t have to work I would move there with my family.
