Yes, many athletes, rappers, new agers, etc., but also many other seemingly intelligent, stable people do appear to believe that. I'm not sure how or why, but it be.

I had this discussion years ago. God revealed to me that the dinosaurs existed on prehistoric earth, before man. Yes, that could've been billions of years prior to man. However, they were destroyed with prehistoric earth during a cataclysmic event (likely the War in the heavens)! That's why at the beginning of Genesis it says, "The earth was without form and void." God had to recreate everything. Then He created mankind. That was about 6,000 years ago. Also, the "BIG BANG" was caused by God's own Word.

People will believe anything. Just write something coherent on Twitter or do a YouTube video and you’ll get thousands or more likes.

It's nice to believe that until you talk to a gullible schizo relative who is 100% convinced that all the "independent researchers" they discover on the internet are revealing the truth. They also believe they are the only ones who know about these independent researchers, and want to share the truth with you.
Of course there are also people like Liberator, who I imagine are just boomers or aging Gen X'ers who discovered 4chan a decade after everyone else and want to get in on the fun of getting online reactions from "normies."
