The burden of proof is not on us. It’s on those flat-earth idiots. I’d be pissed to find out they got a free ride to the edge of the atmosphere just so they can be convinced. We really just need to ignore them and let them do their little cult.

Flat Eath theory has been an inside joke among geodesists and civil / survey engineers for many years.
But I'm amazed when someone actually believes this, always someone outside a science or engineering field who disbelieves the mathematical proof.
How would a flat earther assess credentials for a surgeon needed for a life saving procedure? What if the surgeon didn't believe in flat earth?
Do flat earthers have a selective belief in science when they really need it most?
Of course they do.

All I know is I look down the street in the morning and its straight. I set my cruise in my truck and it doesnt act like I'm going uphill or downhill.

Flat earthers try to explain why the earth is flat with theories and conspiracy theories instead of facts. When you base a theory on another theory and that theory is based on a conspiracy theory, your original theory doesn't hold up.

I love the part where they ask them if they got their info/knowledge from the internet and all of the flat earthers walk up.

Circles and spheres are both round. And the closer celestial bodies we see in space show different sides at diff times. The only way for that to happen is if they are a sphere.

I only got like 15 min into that video, but you can see it in those people. The one guy says he's open to NASA proving a spherical earth, and in the next breath claims all of NASA's photo and video evidence is photoshopped.
A few questions on flat earthers.
What do they think is on the back side of the flat earth? A giant drip pan?
Why do they think every scientist and international government official committed to hundreds of years of concealing the truth? Is there a lot of money in this spherical earth con job? If so, I want some, because I totally think the earth is spherical.
I'm also convinced those people have zero clue how large the earth actually is. The GOAT moment so far in that vid is when the woman said she could see an island 60 miles away and the scientist replied "so what?"

You can quite literally sail around it. Pilots have flown around it. SR-71 blackbird pilots and U-2 pilots have talked about flying around the earth.
It really bothers me that there are adults out there that think the earth is flat
Not to mention all of modern communication technology is functional due to a round earth and satellites orbiting it.
Weather patterns? How is it opposite seasons depending on which hemisphere you are in?
Why do seasons exist at all?
Tides?
Moon phases?
Eclipses?
Time difference based on location???
I mean the evidence is pretty infinite, these people dont really believe the earth is flat they just want attention
