not to mention they don't prepare it until you announce your code at the speaker.

Literally the same as everyone else in line.

OP doesn't know what he's talking about

Does it tell you whether or not the employees are too lazy to operate and clean the ice cream machines that day......

Oops, I meant, does it tell you if the ice cream machine is broken that day?

I set my coffee pot to brew 8 cups at 430am but forgot to empty the old coffee out the pot. Woke up to 10.5 cups.

They’re not the only place that does that. It’s a plus for customers who may have intentions on using the apps for discounts but forget to mention it.

What's with McDonald's new drive-thru policy? Every time you pull up, this recorded voice asks if you'll be using your Mobile McDonald's app to order today.

Why would anyone do that? Who wants to order cold food ahead of time when it just takes a minute for them to cook it hot?

Yikes.

It's already been explained, but I'll try again since you don't seem to get it.

You order ahead of time and pay with the app. You pull up 10-20 minutes later. Instead of "Give me a number 6 with a coke, a hamburger happy meal with etxra fries and a juice for a girl... etc" You literally pull up and respond, "GR72" when prompeted.

At that point, your accurate, paid for order is submitted as if you just ordered it live. They hand you a receipt and your "fresh/hot" food with little to no communication. (Which is a good thing)

I'm talking about McDonadls, not Chicken licking. What's so hard about understanding in the year since they started doing it I've never ever seen anyone skip the line for any reason?

In the year since they have been doing it? They have been using the app for a few years.

Also, if you order on the app why go through the drive thru lane? Why not go to the "MOBILE PICKUP" spots?

You are doing it wrong if you are waiting in the drive thru lane using the app.

I weed-n-feed'd my lawn a few weeks ago and I didn't spread it evenly. I have light spots. I should have gotten a Mexican to do it.

You think they cook your food fresh when you order it?
Have you seen the sandwich and fry bins stacked up with food under the lights at McDonalds?

I'm with the OP. You millennials think y'all are so much smarter than us "gramps", but ordering on a phone or in line is no different, except you made the payment ahead of time and not in person.

Millennial? 1956 here.....staring 70 right in the face Scooter!'
Know your audience before popping off "gramps."

And this Boomer can use an app. It's how I get my free monthly double cheeseburger.

Someone insert Jerry Seinfeld GIF here! I don't have time to look it up.

How about this big guy

I use it everytime I go.

And how is my food not cold, well the app uses locations services to not submit it to the kitchen until I'm close to the store.

Whats the end result, I fly through the drive through while your boomer arse is reading the menu.

Oh and I save 20% off everytime by using the app.

watch out! Gramps is going to nit pick on the exact percentages of savings in an attempt to salvage this trainwreck of a thread.
