Just got to Toledo Bend for the first time, spending a few days out here with family. How many of you baws have made it out here? How’s the fishing?

Muh parents live up there. Definitely a slower pace of living and if you like to be on the water fishing it's a great spot.

I ride dirt bikes at South Toledo State ATV park but it is now closed due to a recent hurricane and a near future hurricane it seems. Looks like it will be closed for a while sadly.

My grandparents had a place right off one of the canals. Spent many weeks every year up there from 4 years old until about 14. Loved it up there.
I’ve even thought about getting a place up there but the wife wants to be a little closer to ‘town’.
Speaking of, I remember when I was in trips up there, that we would go to ‘town’ and that was Many
Also remember how the town was buzzed when they got their first Walmart. Before then we just went to Piggly Wiggly.
