Noooo...no you aren't. You're probably the biggest fricking idiot on this board. I don't know why you continue to post. Everybody hates you.
Far, far from any of that.
But, anyway, I don't live my life trying to impress interchangeable joes on a message board; I live it trying to impress myself.

Well, you certainly didn't set the bar too high.

You only like Lennon because he wanted you to imagine if there were no religion.
I actually have very little respect for John Lennon, considering how he behaved as a father. None of my statements about "giants" had anything to do with my own personal likes or dislikes. I was not a fan, for example, of Robin Williams's comedy.

I'm sorry if I used your own words against you.

Go on... it won't kill you to admit that I'm impressive.

Oates, I had a voice mail from PJ once upon a time... I should have saved it for posterity and to be a legend

If you saw Meadowlark Lemon play live, along with every few months on TV, you would know what a giant he was. People did not look away because they did not want to chance missing anything.
He was an icon and comedic genius. R.I.P.

Rex, I disagree with 99% of your political slanted posts. Probably 90% of everything else you post. And I believe that everytime SFP debates you, he absolutely mops the floor with you. But that being said, I don't get the hate for you, and think your giants thread was written unbiased.
I can't stand by silently. You are being unreasonably attacked. Owlfan owes you an apology.

I think he also owes PJ an apology for including him in this thread.

That never happens, but you're entitled to your opinion.

As do many others, but it's truly like water off a duck's back... a very SEXY duck's back.

Nope. Peej is literally wrong about everything he has ever predicted on this board. He's either horribly cursed, or absolutely Rain Man brilliant. I'm thinking it's a slight combination of both, snake bit cursed, with a touch of mental retardation.

I think Yogi Berra probably fits the bill. His isms became part of the American lexicon.
Maureen O'Hara probably fits as well.
Both were simply so far past their heydays that their lights had faded a bit for a long time before their deaths.

I could be wrong but I really don't think most Americans knew who Yogi Berra was.

You must be terribly disappointed.

Lennon died at 40, while most of his fans were still relatively young.
"It ain't over 'til it's over." People will still be saying that a hundred years from now.
