Turbocharged 4 banger incoming
No shite. Bought the wife (no pics) a Highlander. Started researching and was scared of the new gen EPA hippy fig 4 cylinder turbo vs. that tried and true V6. Found a 2018 with 23K miles from a retired couple that was as close to new as you could find. Very happy with it.

As long as you do the timing belt and water pump every 100K on the 4.7 it'll outlive you.

I had a V8 4Runner. It had a little over 300k when I got rid of it. Phenomenal vehicle.

Toyota dropped a small video of the back window rolling down so the internet can now get their panties out of a wad. Also dropped another teaser photo. Looks pretty good so far, though I'm not a fan of the big massive screens.
ETA: The video also teased the official release date as April 9th.

Don't the Toyota's use the electric motors for acceleration from any speed.. not just from a standstill.. isn't that correct??
Correct. On the dash there's a gauge telling you when it's being used.

Does that screen let the car behind you watch YouTube videos while driving?

Good! Toyota dropped this feature from the Sequoia, Land Cruiser, and even ditched the lift gate glass from the latest Highlander.
The roll down rear glass is an awesome feature that most SUV’s should have IMO.
