Since the advent of "23 and me" and the other DNA testing services a lot of people have found out that their brother was just a half brother, dad was not really dad, etc, probably a few that found out they actually married a cousin, or half sibling. I know there was one couple that had been dating for months, and found out they were brother and sister.

Now that gay marriage is legal, I don’t see what legal grounds can stand to prevent any number of consenting adults from marrying.
And to go further down the rabbit hole, now that children are being allowed to make life altering decisions like what gender they are, it’s only a matter of time before the issue of children being able to give consent in the same manner as an adult will arise.
Pandora’s box is wide open, folks. All we can do now is sit and watch what all sorts of perversion and evil flies out.

Worked in a small town in Alabama for a while. The town librarian was married to her first cousin. They had both ben married to someone else, both had families and their old spouses died. They had "always loved each other" and decided to get married, and so they did. I was told this about the second day I was there, so I guess it was common gossip in the town.
