Fireworks can be shot year round in some counties. It's cities and their rules that restrict.

Anyone over 12 that shoots fireworks, well.... it’s true about the dumbing down of America. I’ve always regarded adults that shoot fireworks somewhat, shall we say - simple minded.

no reason you can't. There are places that you can buy them year round. Their is a fireworks distributor right here in Ponchatoula. Been here for probably 40 years. Never stepped foot inside the place. I never got the appeal of fireworks.

Back when we could afford em we usta load up the suv with then day after new years and they would stay in the closet all year take em out and sight some when ever ya want. Shoot off a few rounds from a 2 inch mortar and ya gather a croud of neighbors great fun if ya trashy enough to do it.

They are legal year-round in Missouri. In Illinois they used to be illegal year-round and for all I know still are. I know a man who got filthy rich by setting up the first fireworks stand by the Missouri-Illinois bridge over the Mississippi River.
