If it weren't for the 2 year old asleep in the back room I'd be fine with it. I just find it inconciderate as shite for fricksticks to fire off shite in the middle of a damn residential neighborhood.

If something that’s fun as frick like making things explode loudly into pretty lights is trashy and wrong, then I don’t ever want to be right.
I’m almost 30 and I just lit up some big arse fireworks with my lady friend for the first time since high school and man it was awesome.

I usually end up fairly well pissed on these fireworks nights...however, my neighborhood is starting to get fairly quiet, so this one may not be too bad.

Big show was at midnight last night, it echoes through the mountains pretty well. It's one night a year, I can deal with it.

What time is that picture? You live far enough South that it gets dark at a reasonable time? I know that only the Northern parts really have daylight/dusk 24 hours a day, but I always thought that it got dark real late, even in the Southern parts.

About 12:20. It wasn't totally dark, the sky had some twilight. Downtown sits in a bowl surrounded by mountains

Fireworks are fine. Its the trashy people who dont know what time is reasonably considerate to stop popping them thats the problem.
