I'm with you, Cajun brother. Having a really young kid trying to sleep with butt loads of shitty, loud for the sake of being loud fireworks going off just a few yards from his window fricking sucks. You can identify the WT in your hood based on how shitty, how long, and how late their fireworks go off. I've seen some things this evening walking the block that have flatly changed my opinion on several people I thought were ok baws.

I'm not a big fireworks guy, but it's the Fourth, so go for it. But I'm over in Webb Park where I own a nice home that I've worked my arse off to afford, and one block away (Bawell) is like a fricking war zone.
If people with not much money to begin with want to spend part of that meager income on fireworks, then more power to them. But I'm hearing everything from .22's to .40's to AK's and AR's.. Hundreds of rounds in total. It's unreal.

Man, go get some fireworks and start shooting them.. And it will make you feel like a kid again.
Look, it can get a little annoying when they keep shooting them throughout the night. One of my dogs doesn't like it, but once she gets settled in and she is in a room with the TV on she is good, but it happens 3 nights a year. 4th of July, New Years Eve and then people usually still shoot them New Years Day night.
It's something to do. As long as people are not burning the neighborhood down, what's the big deal?
