For the third (fourth) time, I've never had a problem with his views or him being a conservative black man. To each his own.

So let's assume for the sake of argument that watermelon is in fact a stereotypically black food.
Shouldn't that make bringing watermelon or fried chicken for that matter to a place that you know a lot of black people will be a good example of considering others?
If I was going to a gathering of nothing but Greeks and I was supposed to bring something to eat I would probably try to pick something that I knew a lot of Greeks liked.
Only black people have figured out how to make considering their likes when in their presence out to be racist.

My "issue" with him isn't related to what he believes. I can say it five more times, and you'll inevitably tell me that I'm an idiot, but let's just save ourselves the time and move on, I suppose.
