Fire and Police Sirens Old Jefferson/Airline/Prairieville Area

We have been hearing multiple emergency vehicle sirens for the past twenty minutes. We are off of Old Jefferson not far from Manchac Bridge. Anybody know what’s going on other than Karen saw someone not social distancing?

They came through my hood yesterday doing a food drive making all kinds of racket.

Yep, St. George Fire Department just passed our house and our children gave them canned goods. I don’t think they advertised it very well, unlike the St. George Santa Parade. The children were disappointed there was no Santa throwing candy after they donated. Thank you for the heads up as to what was happening.

Yeah this wasn't publicized very well. First I heard about was the sirens today.

Food drive? Heard nothing about it. They came through my neighbor yesterday, and there was a pick up truck following the fire engine that had “ City of St George” posters all over it. Thought they were just trying to make a point.
