I had one years ago and it was so thick. I don’t know if they’ve changed their ways but even giving it time to break in it was still so thick.

Looks like Day Man can set you up, or check out a company called Corter Leather. They sell similar and used to sell this exact style. Reasonably priced, too. I'm not making much right now, I don't really have the time.
