Mineralogy with Barb Dutrow. Hardest class I've ever taken.

Worst exam was the Oral part of the PhD qualifying exam in Physics grad school.
The written part of the qualifier was pretty brutal (2 4-hour 5-question exams on consecutive days), but after you passed the written you were admitted to the oral exam.
You stood in front of a chalk board and a committee of 4 professors got 2 hours to hit you with any physics questions they wanted; quantum, classical mechanics, thermo, optics, Electricity and Magnetism, fluid dynamics, Experimental, Math, whatever...
The worst part was that the professors could ask follow-up questions and adapt. If they found you were weak in an area, then they could spend the rest of the time asking questions from that area.

Some type of geography class at LSU. Made an 82 but was curved down to a C. Buddy of mine had same class from same teacher on different day. Made a 78 and grade was curved up to a B. The C that I made was my high watermark for the semester. My BAC exceeded my GPA.

Tough call.. either P chem quantum mechanics final or USMLE Step 1. I think the sheer anxiety around Step 1 pushes that one ahead.

System dynamics with Murphy the first year he taught it. shite was brutal. Made an 18/100 and went to school an extra year for it

Music final that instructor played a few verses of a song you had to name the song, composer and what period of music it was composed - frick that shite.
I think he played about 30 songs. I gave up and fell asleep
I had nearly forgot that hell.
Shumann, Roselein.
Röselein, Röselein, Müssen denn Dornen sein? Schlief am schatt'gen Bächelein Einst zu süssem Träumen ein, Sah in ...
God help me, glad for the C.

Well there’s three that come in mind.
1) microprocessor final which including creating a program with the least amount of processes.
2) Emag final
3) z transform and Laplace transforms, plus Nyquist rate equations.

Chemical engineering thermo @McNeese made me really wonder if I was gonna make it through

Fluids with Devireddy was probably the worst. Final started at 5:30 in the evening with a 2 hour block. Before the final Devireddy made sure to tell us we probably couldn't finish it in 2 hours.
Most people stayed in there until well after 9:30, but I do remember one guy audibly saying "frick this shite" about an hour in and just walking out

I dont remember, I was busy doing other ventures.
Freshman year, was still in the 1990s for me. There was an adult store that would often have old inventory in the alley bin behind the store. I slung VHS porno to high school dudes without internet at $40 a film. That's how I bought my first les paul.

Bankruptcy exam. It was a 16 page fact pattern that ended with the word "Discuss."

The two ChemE make or break classes.
Each are impossibly hard.
Fvck those all-nighters and walking out of an exam feeling like it could've been in Latin.
