Will get back on it shortly. Not at my desk today unfortunately,

Hunter sure is on a "consistant" pace

FWIW, Hunter had 187,638 season votes--apparently only second to VinnyBot. I'm not sure how long he had to get those votes in the regular season, but if he maintained seven days of voting at the present level, he'd come out just above that number (~200K).

As we proved last week (with 280K votes), getting up into that kind of stratosphere takes significant effort, but we can certainly get there. I have a feeling that if we don't take him out right now, then we will definitely go head to head with him in the end. I was on the fence about picking sides, but if we're going to do this thing, let's fricking do it right.

OT overnight squad will load up for bear, and we'll see if we can at least keep the bloody thing even overnight tonight. BTW, to the day crew for bailing us out and getting it even today.

Thanks FCP, I think the best way is to get BJ and Eric in the final. We know the voting will be fairly done if nothing else.

I just tracked a four minute span of votes.

Eric
18
34
22
22

Hunter
23
25
24
25

I did it this morning too and 3 of the 4 minutes Hunter either got 24 or 25 votes. So basically 7 out of 8 minutes i logged him he got the exact same amount of votes. The one minute where he actually got in the 30s is probably because that was the one point some ACTUALLY voted for him.

Maybe Hunter has a group of friends voting their hindquarters off consistently. How long have their votes been that consistent?

I mean, Vinny was cracking off 20k+ votes over night only. That is suspicious.

He doesn't. He was at 24-25 votes per minute at 12am, 1am, and 3am per FCP. Then I tested him before lunch and just now. Same pace.

He clearly has a bot on. Just doesn't have it turned up to 10k an hour like vinny did when he got caught.

He doesn't, his voting is too consistent.

Yep. He was the #2 Seed as AQ (Automatic Qualifier #2). He turned on his script and letter rip. Not cool. Just kept it at a lower number. Vinnybot was an idiot for how he did it. Hunterbot is a little harder to bust I guess.

Been voting hard tho.

I can confirm that this is a pretty decent tailgate. Year after year we go back. BJ is a particularly jovial character who encompasses the definition of southern hospitality combined with being a badA turkey fryer. And for that reason I voted at least twice thus far.

At 2:37 AM I timed eight (8) sequential one (1) minute intervals and noted the number of votes which were added for each such period:

Time Votes Change
2:37AM - 19725 +0 (start)
2:38AM - 19747 +22
2:39AM - 19771 +24
2:40AM - 19795 +24
2:41AM - 19815 +20
2:42AM - 19839 +24
2:43AM - 19864 +25
2:44AM - 19886 +22
2:45AM - 19910 +24

In other words, there's an almost identical number of votes being added to the user's total with each passing minute--all just after 2:30 AM--exactly as there is right now.
