Amazon Video is pretty decent. Definitely not the best one but I've noticed some more decent stuff coming out on it.

Yeah, about that......I haven't gotten anything within the original Prime delivery window in more than two years. Hell, their order processing takes longer than what delivery used to take as a whole. I'm close to a warehouse, but delivery has gotten considerably longer since it opened.

I'm not far from cancelling my Prime.

I still get most deliveries within 48 hours but I also live within 5 miles of a new warehouse. Several times over the holidays, we got our delivery same day.

My wife was in nursing school so we've been using the student discount version. Not sure if we will renew when her current discounted year runs out.

Walmarts shipping is amazing

I woke up early one morning, ordered something I needed before breakfast. Came home late that evening and a WalMart bag was hanging from my door knob

And I dont even have a Walmart in my little town of 2000 people

After more than a decade I finally ended it. Like most of us I was roped in with the college accounts early in the Prime days. Never used the streaming or music. Rumors suggest the shipping speeds are virtually the same, we'll see.

Anyone still subscribed to Prime solely for shipping?

Why would you pay monthly for this?I only signed up when I needed to buy something and the shipping price was half of the Prime membership price. Most of the time I would get a free 30 day trial.

I considered it, but never used it. I don't get enough merch shipped from Amazon to offset the subscription cost.

Or you can use Poor Man's Prime: Order through WalMart.com and have it shipped to your nearest WalMart for free. Pick it up and Profit.

That means I’d actually have to go to a Walmart. And for that reason…I’m out.

And they offer a free Paramount Plus subscription with your membership. I didn't notice that until last week....

Cancelled mine last week. I have placed a couple of orders since. Shipping speed is virtually the same. I ordered a 3M headlight restore kit and a leather repair kit on the 26th. It finally shipped yesterday out of their warehouse in Bessemer, AL went to Atlanta, then to the Prattville, AL post office. Supposed to get it today, but USPS is horribly unreliable. I ordered some coffee on the 30th. Still hasn't shipped, expected delivery is the 6th. Walmart.com has the same coffee, it's cheaper, and if I'd waited and order right now, I'd get it on the same day as the Amazon order.

I canceled about a year ago. If I remember right, you can still get free shipping on orders $35+.

I ordered a handful of things for Christmas on there and it still got to my house within a week. I guess doing that they gave me free shipping on everything temporarily because I ordered something on Sunday for $15 and it arrived today.

Amazon video has the absolute worst interface. I think I’ve said it before. But they don’t give a shite cause everyone has it. Same for their music.

You can be patient and get it free just by going over a certain amount, right?

It's not 2 days anymore. I just ordered a bunch of stuff, all prime eligible, none of it is getting here within a week.
