You are arguing with yourself. Can you point to someone that thinks lower income blacks in St. George aren't as much of a problem because they happen to be in St. George? You invented this.

so you want an argument? It’s been over 20 years - time to get over it
You posted this opinion very recently. Don't run from it now. It made zero sense and was contrary to the real world.

not really, your delusional subjective opinion is your reality but it doesn’t make anything illogical and it doesn’t change the objective truth

These Future Farmers of America meetings are getting out of hand.

My dad graduated from Istrouma in 1955 and my mom in 1956. It could have been them

You invented this.
I replied to the poster that said:
quote:does this poster really think something like this can’t happen in St George? How will showing a fight at Istrouma help St George? Because people are automatically going to understand why St George wants their own school district? Someone in Monroe isn’t going to know the difference nor care.
This will all be on the campaign reel next time St George is on the ballot.

irony
Well, no shite, not many places are better than 20 years previous. Thats more of an Obama thing than a Katrina thing.

huh? He's saying pointing out the realities of the EBR school district will help the vote for a St. George school district.

Your arguments are very strange. They don't make any logical sense.
quote:

You were running because you tried to make it seem like I was bringing up an old (20 year old) argument. In reality, I was commenting on something you had recently posted. You get confused easily.

Nothing about that is ironic. I'm not sure you understand the definition of irony. Baton Rouge CLEARLY has its own problems and had problems prior to Katrina. And, of course, the problems it has now aren't solely due to Katrina. Again, you are inventing something by suggesting I am ignoring that.
But, it's an objective truth that Katrina hurt Baton Rouge.

we can laugh and make jokes and profile, and all rightfully so. but, there was a kid or some kids who's biggest accomplishments in life thus far, will forever be marked by this behavior. and the sad part is, the adults usually care the least.

Same people that got upset that they could play WAP large speaker on a carnival cruise.
I Guess asking them to be a decent human is racist.

Officer a the very beginning of the video is like...nah I'm not dealing with this, so what are we having for dinner at the graduation party?

Only people with low IQs do this type of stuff. Why would anybody want their child that is even halfway intelligent to have to spend time around these type of folks? They really are an embarrassment to the human race. And until their own people start to check them, it will continue. They don’t know, but they are a laughing stock.

We've got Dunham's graduation tonight...It could happen to us too

Both my uncle and my father were graduated from Istrouma.
My grandparents owned an house on Ontario street.
I remember the going to the house as a kid.
My grandmother never got a drivers license because she could get everywhere on the city bus.
But that was in the ‘60s. Everyone worked at Exxon.
White flight was real from that area.
Pretty nutty, honestly, the devolution that has occurred.

Looks like kids while the adult men are trying to break it up. Not what I was expecting.

I know someone who was near the action and you’re not far off. Heard the fight started as a debate about radical realism vs. sacred decorum depicted in baroque art and it turned physical.
