I will also add that a lot of these ticket counter/gate workers are assholes, and have a really shitty demeanor. I haven't watched the vid, but that probably contributes to it at least a little bit. But there is probably a reason a lot of them have that demeanor, considering the assholes and dumbasses they have to deal with day to day.

Which makes it funny because there are so many comments thinking she's white.

Unfortunately, the employees don't have enough sense to (1) stay behind the counter and (2) disengage.

The longer the back and forth, the more likely it will have an ugly result. In college, I rode one night with Jack Driscoll, the Sheriff of Grayson County. He made a few traffic stops, each one about 1 minute long (no tickets written). He told me "the longer your encounter with the person, the more likely there will be a problem."

This is really good advice.

Part of it is being ABLE to disengage.

Had an a-hole start bowing up to me yesterday starting shite in public. When I tried to ignore him, he attempted to escalate.

I fricking HATE feeling like it is visiting day at Angola when I go to the fricking store…

I work in transportation. Worse customer I experience was a doctor. Had him removed from a ship and banned from future travel.

People stress like hell when they travel, mainly because they don't do their homework and book in a timely manner.
