I think they indict him just to satisfy the "community". Then have some bull shite trial where he is found not guilty much farther down the road.

If you have ever traveled outside of this country you will see that the United States is more friendly to minorities than just about any other place on earth - any other place with similar demographics - it is why people risk everything to get here.
Moreover, stereotypes are what they are because they contain truth. To deny otherwise is relativism, at best. To that point, just because there is a deviation from the norm, does not mean that you throw out or ignore the norm - it simply means there are outliers in virtually any set of circumstances.
Relative to the Ferguson situation, you have a predominantly AA community that has protested and looted their own community over sketchy facts. They are now threatening violent protest if their particular view is not affirmed - whether they view point is substantiated by facts.
These actions fit a stereotype that is based in reality, in whole or in part.
It is what it is...or isn't what it isn't. Take your pick.

I have discussions on race all the time, and I'm on both sides. Meaning, I'm the one with the prejudice or critical commentary sometimes, and sometimes I'm the one questioning it.
I have no desire to pretend that white people don't prejudge black people, or that at times, I don't. But, I do have a desire to talk about things as they are, not as they might be to further a political or social agenda.
Prejudice does not typically come from a place of hatred, in my opinion. It may come from legitimate fear, irrational fear, fear of the unknown, etc.

Quick question for the thread, not necessarily you.
Regarding the white pathologist who keeps popping up on tv saying the evidence shows clearly that Brown's arms were raised.. First of all, the pathologist hired by the family returned 'undetermined' findings if I'm not mistaken. The troll's theory is the projection of the bullet through the front of the forearm clearly proves that the victim had his hands up. Short cop tall vic and bullet projection is upward from front to back of arm. My question is how do you know if his hands were raised in surrender or if he threw his hands up just before the shot more as a reflex or defensive position?
