It would be hard to work around pills all day and not sample any. I couldn't do it.

shite, knowing that $150K is going down the drain, plus getting arrested and having your license to practice suspended, if you are caught, kinda keeps you in line...

i was stupid..... i risked everything i had, every day, because of my compulsion and addiction.... don't know how or why i wasn't caught, but i wasn't.... i'm not proud of it at all, it's shameful... i wasn't even an honest drug addict... i stole my supply... that's low... and that was my life, everyday for my entire 20's and early 30's...

thanks man... yeah, when my wife found my stash of pills, that was the day i had to admit to the family what i was.... i was a stone cold addict... but them finding out, while it sucked and shite, it lifted a huge burden off my back.... for once i could actually talk about what i was going through and i wasn't "alone" anymore...

i'm so grateful for my wife.... most would have probably packed my shite and told me to hit the bricks, but she went into to recovery mode and started looking to get me help ASAP... went to some psychiatrists, and did NA for about 1 1/2 years, and that worked out.... didn't do rehab at a facility, and i did the withdrawal stuff myself, with my knowledge of pharmaceuticals...

i have an ex who died a little over a month ago that this is verbatium how she got hooked. was a nurse and was working around pills. started cuffing opiates. got away with it for quite a while from what i understand, years. then she got popped. then she wasn't a nurse anymore. then she couldn't afford the 10 roxy a day habit she had buit up then switched to heroin, then overdosed and died on july 30th

RIP Tiff tiff

she introduced me to opiates though that never was really my thing but after seeing what happend to her, never will be.

Why do we even make shite that's so powerful that cops have OD'd just from the shite seeping into their skin?

Can you reference this? I don't think fentanyl absorbs through skin contact but correct me if I'm wrong.

Doctors handing out opiates when you stub your toe and the kickbacks they receive for doing so has nothing at all to do with this.

Tell me more about these kickbacks. Do you have any examples?

I see your examples of "kickbacks" for eye drops for dry eyes, iron cheating agents, and we all know about the compounding issues

But tell me how the ED physician who writes a prescription for 20 oxycontin gets a "kickback". Details would be helpful.

Because
1. I don't think you really know as much as you think you do
2. Have no experience in healthcare
3. Are trying to make this into some conspiracy instead of just accepting that people like to do drugs. If they want fentanyl they will get fentanyl. If you wanted it, it's probably actually harder to get it from a doctor

People don't understand the biology behind why Fentanyl is so potent. I deal with it all the time and strongly advise doctors not to prescribe. The damn drug 50 times stronger than heroine and 100 times stronger than morphine. Also Fentanyl is non polar so it moves through the brain extremely fast. Only takes a small amount (2mg) to frick you up and possibly kill you.

There are more Opioid related deaths than peak AIDS, Guns and Automobile deaths in this country. Problem is there are more Fentanyl analogous being made and you could buy it easily online from China if you wanted too. Also Fentanyl is a synthetic so it can be produced easily.

I've been doing toxicology for about 10 years now. I actually do consulting on drug programs inside doctors practices and make sure they can survive an audit. Most docs are not up to speed on state laws and OIG advisories. I do this on top of my tox and blood business.
