Boys, you are missing out on some potentially electric effects by automatically dissing the underarms of women. I give zero fricks about a woman having pit hair.
Part of the stigma is that the women that usually have pit hair are unattractive and have given up or want to bolster their street value by being "artsy" and having hairy pits.

Gross. I shave my armpits, head, face and privates. Hair is nasty and attracts microscopic as well as eye visible bugs.
