I doubt that. I can do way more than 3, and I'd like to think Marines can do more than I can.

Most Female Marines suck at pull ups

It's worth pointing out that chin-ups and pull-ups are different. A lot of people would probably do less pull-ups than they think.
The one on the left is a pull-up.

For those who haven't seen the headlines.
The USMC was set to enforce a three pullup minimum for women this year. Pullups have been part of the men's PFT for more than fifty years but women have skated by with a flexed arm hang. The administration is dead set on putting women into combat units so the Marines responded by trying to raise female fitness standards. Only 45% passed the the three pullup minimum however - and that figure is undoubtedly inflated.

Lol, I know the difference. If you can't do 3 pullups, you shouldn't be in the Marines. Sorry.

I'm not arguing that. I know from experience that a lot of people don't know the difference. Just clarifying.
