Any one still waiting on this?
My sister’s one is still pending. I wanted to see if anyone else is having similar delays on this.

Surprisingly enough. I did receive $800 for my generator purchase. Uploaded the receipt some weeks back and i got an email last week saying it was approved.

I was told it could be 30-90 days when I was learning about the program

You had to have: purchased a generator or chainsaw between August 26th and Sept 29th, live in an Hurricane Ida affected parish, demonstrate a need for one, file a FEMA claim, upload receipts, and wait for your payments.
Edit: for incorrect info

Got a direct deposit last week after seeing it was approved for about a week, paid off the Lowe’s CC with it. Free generator..
Purchased it August 26th for exactly 800, all the numbers fell into place perfectly.. Thanks FEMA

The whole getting denied by insurance part is wrong.

How long did it stay pending before you got it?

I've done all of this, but I was also told that I needed to provide proof that my homeowners insurance denied my 'claim' for the generator reimbursement. My insurance doesn't cover that and my deductible is over $800 so why would I make that claim?
