I asked for prayers back in 07 when my mom had terminal cancer and again earlier this year when my grandmother went into hospice. I know those didn't turn out well, but not due to lack of prayers.

My father has to have double bypass surgery tomorrow morning and just ask that you keep him in your prayers. He is in good shape physically other than this, so he didn't have a lot of symptoms, etc, although he was short of breath once and got checked out and they discovered he has some blockages. Asking for a quick stay in the hospital and no complications and that he makes a quick and full recovery. I told him no LSU games cause Les may get his heart working too fast.

TIA

Dear Lord,

I entrust Weaver from Tigerdropping's Dad your care this day; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, I may be restored to soundness of health and learn to live in more perfect harmony with you and with those around me. Through Jesus Christ. Amen.

I have heard the surgeon is the best in Houston. My uncle, who is an OBGYN, went to LSU medical school with him. I am more concerned about his recovery and what he can and can't do. Also what rehab will be needed.

Thanks to all

Some updates. He has had some veins taken out of his leg and a central line put in. They then put him on a bypass machine and have done three bypasses. They will now start finishing up and then take him off the bypass machine. Should get another update around 12.

Dad is all good. They put some drain lines in and closed him up and he is off to recovery.

I thank God this is over and hope his recovery is as pain free as possible and that he can get back to what he was doing.
