He had that in his cat because he had multiple DUIs. No sympathy from me.

If you bothered to read the article you would know that this is not the case.

Really sad part is that although the charges will eventually be dropped, the expense, hassle, and repercussions are usually the same as being convicted.

I can’t be bothered with such trivial things.

I am very much looking forward to this. I'm starting the week after Christmas. I have already been on a lower carb diet, but the hardcore switch happens after Christmas.

I did it last year. I actually really enjoyed the diet, certainly better than anything i have done.

I don't drink beer, so I didn't miss it. And you can you drink whiskey on keto, which I did sparingly.

We've been low carb at night for a while now with some cheat nights (Pizza and gumbo). I really like a lot of the recipes I have found, so we are going full out.

That and wine will be a life saver.

Let me know if you need any help setting up your program. I’ve been on a strict ketogenic WOE for about a year now.

I was drinking Bourbon, I didn’t specify that in the earlier post, when I had my mishap. I was floored that two drinks put me under the table. Definitely learned a lesson about needing to do more research about this stuff.

Not to mention the massive hangover that comes from drinking on keto.

Not to mention being a massive douche and telling everybody how you do keto

oh, you certainly get drunk fast, and the hangovers suck. But keto says that whiskey is ok.

Keto says that whiskey is okay very, very sparingly. It’s good from a carbohydrate perspective, but you body full stop, stops burning fat while it metabolizes the alcohol. So it’s not ideal.

That's pointless, I'd rather have auto-brewery syndrome.

If you exercise and get electrolytes, it burns up the alcohol though correct? Again, not ideal, but it can be done.

Yes once the alcohol is metabolized your body once again starts burning fat. If you must drink alcohol I would not recommend more than 2 drinks in a 24 hour period and the drinks should be ideally extra brut champagne or hard liquor with zero carbs such as whiskey, vodka, tequila. Also need to watch the mixer if you are using one.
