Wife (no pics) lost taste and smell for 5 days. I had no symptoms and never tested positive.

I did not lose my senses of smell or taste.

I had breathing problems for about a week, and can still feel some residual lung pain almost 4 months later.

Covid 19 positive the first week of April.
Lost taste and smell. It took two months to fully get it back.

Not yet. I do have an appointment with a different cardiologist on Thursday for a second opinion, though. Fingers crossed I get some good news for a change.
Good news yet?

It freaked me out when I lost it. Keep trying different foods. Ended up eating a lot of apple sauce. I could get pick up the sweetness. Friend said bacon worked for her.

What about Bird Flu survivors or SARS survivors?

Are those folks not good enough for you?

I had it in March and fully lost smell/taste for about six weeks. Ending up losing 10 pounds in a week because I didn’t eat. It slowly came back and then plateaued in the summer. I’m probably 75% back now and can enjoy food again but there’s certain things I can’t smell/sense strongly

I will say I never understood the correlation between smell and taste. The taste buds only make up for a % of our taste and chewing/smelling helps us identify certain flavors/foods. For the longest time, my sense of smell was non existent and the only experience I had through food was via taste buds, meaning foods were limited to salty, sweet, savory, acidic, spicy, etc. I could eat a cookie and a brownie and not be able to tell the difference other than both being sweet.

Any Shreveport/Bossier baws want to make $3,500 the hard way? There's a clinic in Bossier offering that amount to those who tested positive for the virus for a clinical study. Just have to get tested multiple times per week for a certain time frame(not sure exactly how long).
