Basically people that have kids know what it’s like to be on both sides. The same can’t be said about the narcissistic fricks in this thread that think their lives are somehow better for it

The vast majority of people with kids have no idea what it’s like to be able to travel and have experiences while they’re young and healthy. They have no idea what it’s like to be 30-35 and have an established career, discretionary income, vacation time and zero responsibilities. Maybe if they would’ve worn a rubber or not fell into the small town peer pressure of being married and done with having all their kids by 30 they could’ve enjoyed those things and THEN made the conscious mature decision on if they really want a pack of kids. Now they’re all in the rat race of nagging spouses, dance recitals, travel ball, and all the other BS. Just hoping they can make it to 65 years old without dying so they can retire and go on that Alaskan cruise that they’ve been hearing so much about.

ETA and yea I’ve been on the other side, well about as close as you can get. I get a damn good look at what it’s like being a parent nowadays. iPhones in front of 2 year olds, adderall for the kids at 6 years old, Prozac at 10, suicidal teen daughters, stupid arse dance recitals for your fat unatheltic daughter, travel ball every weekend of your life, not being able to have a decent adult conversation with your spouse, not being able to go out in public social settings until the kids are old enough to somewhat behave, bitching arse wife who sits at home and tells you how hard it is being at home with kids, the list goes on and on...and on and on.....and on. All for that little “I love you” at bedtime that supposedly “makes it all worth it” GTFO! Better you than me podnah!

The freedom is nice but as you get older, you might change your views on children.

Definitely a game changer, but I can’t imagine life without my child now. It’s what life is all about imo

You watch too much TV. What a poor sad outlook on life. Literally everything you just mentioned can be easily achieved with kids as well. Just because you’re married with kids that somehow means you can’t do anything anymore? No you just married the wrong person. Going through those certain trials and tribulations and hardships makes you that much more of a well rounded individual. You go ahead and be the lonely fricking creepy uncle/guy at the family gatherings though.

Oh and I would like to punch you in the face or dick

No you won’t.

Deciding to not have kids is the best decision you can make.

There’s always an underlying issue with dudes that don’t want kids. Incel is a big reason lol

Yea you’re right, everything I mentioned can be “easily achieved” with kids. Easily achieved?! Tell them how for only $19.99 at your seminar! They got some miserable arse old soccer dads out there, you’ll save them all a lot of heartache and despair.

You’re right though being broke with 3 kids and a bitching wife make you a more well rounded person in the long run. I’m gonna get started on that tomorrow. “Trials and tribulations” here I come!

And really, who watches TV still? You and Tom Brokaw need to get with the times.

And no. You can’t touch my dick. That’s for my wife that I’m going to find tomorrow.

What’s your great established career that saddles you with zero responsibilities?

I don’t give a shite about the silly kids discussion anymore (y’all’ve worn that out to death), but I want in on that.

So, it turns out this dude is a single loser that is so well off from his super awesome career that he’s arguing with a bunch is “miserable soccer dads” on a message board on a Friday night.

I’m so miserable that I’m watching the saints game on my back patio and drinking my neighbor’s delicious home brew ipa while my kids and their friends swim. Rough life I have here.
