I think some guy's kids heard it and said they heard a baby. He didn't believe them and thought it was an animal. They luckily ended up checking on it.

These are the cases where we don’t even need a justice system. Just put a bullet in whoever left the baby and kick the body down a hill for animals to eat.

in today's world. the kid gets adopted by a loving family. then 10 years down the road the bio mom changes her mind. sues for custody and wins.

Was what I was wondering, but I think the term woods here are being used loosely. Guy said his kids heard it crying, so probably close to their house.
Why would you do this, drop it off at the hospital or firestation.
