Feds investigate Tulane’s Newcomb program over alleged discrimination against males
An education program at Tulane University is being investigated by the federal government in response to a complaint regarding discrimination against men.
Michael Strecker, Tulane’s executive director of Public Relations, stated on Nov. 20 that Tulane received notice that a complaint had been filed with the Office for Civil Rights, a sub-agency of the U.S. Department of Education, alleging that the Newcomb College Institute discriminates against men. Strecker said the Institute is working with the Education Department to ensure compliance with Title IX, a federal law prohibiting sex discrimination at schools that receive federal funding.
News of the Education Department’s investigation into Tulane’s program was first reported on Nov. 18 by The Associated Press. According to The AP, the department’s civil rights office has also opened investigations into Yale, Princeton, and the University of Southern California to determine if their women's programs violate Title IX.
According to a collection of federal data presented by ProPublica, the U.S. Department of Education has investigated Tulane, Tulane’s School of Medicine, and Tulane’s Law School for 18 allegations of civil rights violations since 2015.

Equality means equality.
These women's studies people, just like all the racial studies people, are about to be in for a rude surprise. We are about to find out if they really seek "equality" or actually they seek "retribution" or "preferential treatment".
I think we know the answer. Curious how far the feds will take this.

Theres a difference between equal opportunity and equal outcome
Its not about equal opportunity anymore.

WTF?
Newcomb had their massive endowment taken, against the will of their graduates, by Tulane. If that counts for nothing, then burn it down.
The women of Newcomb fought that for so long and lost to TPTB. It was wrong at the time and it remains wrong today.
Title ix can't register on the scale of wrongness that happened.

Tulane always wanted to be mentioned in the same breath as Yale and Princeton. Outside of “I’m going to Tulane because I got rejected by Yale and Princeton.”

It was also convenient that their dorm is 100 yards from The Boot, though it was wildly inconvenient that I lived in Butler and had to convince her to walk clear across campus to my dorm because theirs wasn't coed.
