I'd rather people smoke cigarettes than vape, tbh.

Agreed. Good tobacco smells heavenly.

I started at 15mg nicotine per ounce (or whatever measurement they use) last fall and I am currently at 9. Next step down is 6 in june, 3 in august and 0 in September.

After that it is all about quitting the habit with no physical repercussions

I can almost guarantee that Phillip Morris and RJ Reynolds have a huge monetary investment in the e-cig industry.

I know 7 people who used vaping to quit smoking. Two of them still vape, but one has cut his nicotine % down to almost nothing. The other one who is still vaping uses a high % but is off the cigs for a couple years now.

Not one of the people I know is this alleged douchey style of vaper who does it inside and such. They all have gone outside the building to the old smoking area.

There's nothing worse than seeing someone suck on an Ecig every five seconds looking damn near like a train.

More red tape, more expensive to consumers.

Thanks, FedGov.

It is more annoying than smoking. The ridiculous amount of vapor some of these douches exhale makes them look like a fricking factory smokestack. And they take a toke about every 20 seconds so it's like one continuous cloud of vapor. The first cloud hasn't disappeared before the next cloud is exhaled. And it's like they want everybody to see them doing it. Begging for attention just hoping some other vaping douchebag will come over and have a vape expert discussion

I used an ecig to quit smoking a few years ago and quit vaping not long after that. I agree, a lot of people are douchebags about it but it also depends on what kind of ecig you have. Mine was recommended to me for being better at delivering nicotine but it didn't put off those huge clouds.

The reason ecig users have such a terrible reputation is because you only see the assholes out doing it everywhere. Many of us are much more courteous about it and unless you hang out in smoking areas or our backyards, you'd never even know we used an ecig.

It's amazing that the human race survived before the government started protecting us. Now we don't even have to make difficult decisions like "Do I want to go into a bar that allows smoking/vaping, or go to one that doesn't?"

Yep. I miss a smoky old bar sometimes. Dimly lit pool table in the corner with a slow moving haze illuminated just above the surface. I suppose governments large and small think people are incapable of making decisions.

Including premium cigars in this legislation is ludicrous. Not one time have I seen a child, teen, hell even a young adult smoking a premium cigar. I firmly believe in sin taxes, but this sort of regulation of premium cigars is going to stunt a niche market that has 0 impact on today's youth.

Exactly. It's complete bullshite.

"Big tobacco" is also heavily invested in in the e-cig market. This is BigGov fricking things up for the consumer.

Probably, I can see hem wanting to cover their bases. It's a fact that they have been involved in many local anti-ecig ordinances and have funded misinformation campaigns nationally. The money just isn't close to cigarettes. A 10 dollar bottle of "juice" used to last me a week. I spent almost that much every day on smokes.
