FedEx in St. Rose, LA - delays

Can anyone with inside info share what's happening here?
My understanding is the FedEx hub in St. Rose (which handles a lot of the NOLA area) had damage / lost power and is experiencing delays with items being loaded onto trucks for final delivery.
I ordered dog food from Target last Saturday. Normally it ships out same day and I get it 1-2 days later. It said expected delivery was Wednesday Sept 15th which seemed normal with COVID and hurricane delays.
It shipped out Sunday Sept 12 from Daphne AL and arrived at FedEx in St. Rose on Thursday Sept 16th at 3:38 am. It has not moved since.
FexEx tracking says "potentially delayed" and updated delivery: pending. It also has no scheduled delivery date at this time.
Is this a facility in St. Rose where I can just go pick it up? My dog is a PITA and only eats a certain kind of dog food that is hard to find locally, which is why we get it sent from Target. Even the Target stores struggle to keep it in stock.

I ordered paint to be delivered to Pass Christian. It went from Marrero to FedEx St Rose. St Rose sent it to Cypress Texas!! They can't tell east from west. Paint job will be at least a week late.

I don't think its just that location. My Bath & Body Works fall candles have been stuck at the Baton Rouge location for 4 days

I think all postal delivery services in SE LA are behind from the storm. My USPS package was suppose to come in on Thursday and it’s now out for delivery Today.

Yep....sent a priority mail letter last week from here in Acadiana that was going to Amite and was supposed to be delivered today. Arrived in New Orleans last Thursday, then St. Rose on Saturday, and now on delivery day it's now saying that it's going to be arriving late. Can't expect much these days for paying $8 for shipping a letter.

FedEx Ground is running about a week to two weeks behind per the driver that delivers to us.

All of FedEx is delayed in Southeast LA right now.

Everyone's mail that was scheduled to be delivered the past two weeks was shipped to Houston. Its not being delivered back to Nola within this past week(end)

truth - anything sent with fedex will never be delivered, but they will fake a scan saying it was delivered so you cant get a refund or file a claim against them, its SOP with them

Its definitely all FEDEX. I am still waiting on something that had an original expected delivery date of 14 Sept.
It is ridiculous. Before I order anything significant now, I'll make sure they dont ship with FEDEX.
Ive had several packages delivered from Amazon and UPS in the meantime.

Have three packages that have been in TRANSIT with Fedex somewhere in Covington for almost week and a half

If it's getting stuck in Memphis, we can't blame the hurricane. What's going on?
Also, I don't understand how something arrives in St. Rose on Thursday morning and isn't on a delivery truck by today (Monday). Do they not have enough drivers or trucks?
I mean I ordered another item via Prime on Tuesday last week and it came USPS on Friday. How sad when USPS is faster than FedEx.

I am not sure what is going on with FedEx but I have certainly noticed erratic delivery. Often packages will get stuck for several days in New Orleans and other times, out on arrival. And the problem is usually in New Orleans. Aggravating to see something you need just sitting there day after day.

I would imagine you could go pick it up. I work around the corner from the Harahan location and have seen lines of probably 50 people waiting outside, presumably to get packages. I have to believe they're doing the same at St Rose.

Still waiting on September 10 and paid the extra for faster delivery. For some shirts.

I have three deliveries from last week (one being a PS5) that are delayed by FedEx.

FedEx in south La is and always has been worse than the US Postal Service.
The business model is the worst I've ever seen and allows for huge swings in success with little to regulate it or correct it. I cringe every time I see that my order is being delivered via FedEx. I know that I have about a 50% chance of getting my package, and that is not exaggerating.

I had to explain the same thing to the moron that works the customer services counter at the BR Coursey location last week 4 times and she still didn't understand. The guy in line behind me was in tears when I asked him if he understood what I was saying.
