I work in city hall and this is gonna be huge. It was supposed to be kept quiet but news like this spreads like wildfire.

Thinking it's going to be that the state troopers are going to start assisting BRPD due to the fact that there's not enough cops on staff. Sad thing is there is such a small number of policemen and they (mayor, etc) can't talk about it on the news because it would make the crime even worse if the criminals knew the real numbers that the police force is actually working with. Just have no idea why we have so many policemen that have left their jobs and gone and found other careers here in BR. Personally know 4 that have left over the past year and they've said that many more have left and are actively leaving as we speak. Cannot understand it for the life of me.....Who wouldn't want to be a cop here in BR?
