It's funny how when people like you are proven wrong, you keep repeating over and over incorrect info about the other person. Like you're trying to convince yourself. I linked numerous support. You call names, then keep coming back to tell everyone how you were right.

You couldn't prove me wrong because I wasn't proposing any theories. I called your evidence a dumpster fire because the data was inconsistent as was pointed out to you several times.

was this the first ISIS attack on American soil?

interesting question. ISIS is Sunni, like the Saudis, but mostly led by Iraqi former Baath Party guys. So going to pick up a new Paki wife in Saudi Arabia makes it smelly for sure.

I suspect, based on the scale of the operation, this was a cell of between 6 and 12

That sounds about right, based on the reports coming from the neighbors that had been cowed by the SJW's.

Radical muzzies spill their guts and tell all they ever knew when caught.

That's hit or miss. Some do, some don't.

For those that are shy, we can put Israel in charge of gathering what they know. They seem to have a knack for it.

While not totally relevant, they also had thousands of .22 LR's. While small, if Average Joe is hit with one, he is not going to stop to debate muzzle velocity, FPS, etc. I wonder why they had them though, considering they had heavier firepower available?

The documentation is in the thread.

One of your citations is a know gun-control advocacy shill from Harvard. Some of your citations referenced a FBI study that was so bad the FBI took it back. Another citation misquotes another FBI study on active shooter incidents and deliberately conflates it with mass shootings even though the FBI made it very clear to not compare the two events from that study. You are a failure.

ISIS tweets responsibility when I burn my toast at breakfast so I wouldn't take that at face value

I think the final point in this thread is obviously that the fbi sucks at doing criminal studies, which somehow makes this workplace violence incident our fault.

We bring it on ourselves apparently.

Preppers stock up on them because they're (relatively) cheap and light. But, you're correct - they're commonly used for "plinking" - which is inexpensive practice at a firing range. There are tons of tacticool .22s for just this purpose - to get practice with the same platform, while only shooting the cheaper .22lr ammo.

Chilling....

quote:

The terrorists who organized the Nov. 13 attacks on Paris that left 130 dead and several hundred more wounded spent only 30,000 euros, or approximately $32,000, to fund the massacre, according to Finance Minister Michel Sapin, the Local reported Thursday. The spate of assaults perpetrated by terrorists with ties to the Islamic terror group known as ISIS or Daesh employed weapons such as suicide vests, grenades, as well as assault rifles and ammunition. Sapin said the attackers moved "tiny sums," of money to finance the attacks, often using prepaid credit cards to pay for apartments, transport and weapons. The finance minister noted that it is difficult to track this kind of financing because the terrorists never moved large sums of money.

This is the Bin Laden doctrine. Asymmetrical economic warfare. Assuming they only rented the apartment and Farook was largely self-funded, this may have cost them nothing - could have all come from Farook's salary as a county employee.

The 4 confirmed firearms and accessories under $2500, I would estimate. Ammo, say another $2500 or so. Explosives are more problematic - they likely got external assistance if commercial explosives. If it was all improvised - the balance of the costs depends on how much they spent on electronics and raw materials.

All in, they killed 14, lost 2 and spent under $20k. Just try to do the mental math in your head how much this has already cost the U.S. taxpayer, outside the tragic loss of 14 lives.

Fair enough. Plinking, for the sake of plinking is an honorable pastime.

Fox just identified the as "Long Rifles" when speaking of the .22LR's. It is a shame that none of them have a clue about something this simple, but I digress.

For the firearms used, the long guns were purchased legally, but by someone else. I wonder how many they bought and who has them now? There is plenty of information to be gotten ad a whole lot of investigating to do right now.

Good luck to the men and women that are chasing down answers.

I hate to hear about so many boating accidents, I recently had a similar tragedy befall all of my scary looking guns.

I think the libs have infiltrated boat manufacturers and have armed all boats with a self destruct program when an evil gun is detected.
