Good stuff. Did some research and it looks like you're right: the 3919 is lacquered and not enameled, despite everyone calling it so. I'll scout chrono24 when I travel to see if I'll be near any dealers with one to look at. Appreciate the help.

I have a brand new never opened Swatch that matches the one I had in 7th grade. Roughly 1987.

Submariner ref 116610. I wanted this watch for a while before I could finally get it. As a prior poster also said, the Vacheron Overseas is fantastic as well.

These are my current ones. Been wearing the Milgauss more than the others lately.

This is what I currently have out of the safe and in rotation. The Sub means the most to me - first nice watch I bought (1989, cost me $1800 back then), but I like wearing a GMT, so the 16710 Pepsi gets the most daily wear. That BB58 also finds its way on the wrist quite a bit.

ronricks - Love the CHNR, on my radar as soon as I can get one retail and timing is right. Regretted picking up a 116710LN instead in March of 2019 when I had both sitting in the case at one of the ADs here. It is sitting in my safe waiting to get passed down. I like the 6-digit CHNR loads better than any iteration of the old 5-digit rootbeer GMTs.

CHNR is an awesome watch and looks much better in person than Pictures. I’ve only worn the Green Dial OP 41 a few times. Usually wear the Sub or Milgauss. 3131 movement in Milgauss is smooth as butter. Such a simple watch but love wearing it.

The Milgauss is just one of those easy to wear watches. I got the Z Blue after my wife stole my white one. I love the thunderbolt hand and how it adds a quirky nature to what is normally a stodgy brand.

One of my grails is a nice tropical 6541. I chose not to buy many great examples back in the old days and now the prices are just unfathomable.

This and a stainless Oyster Perpetual. Omega purchased by my grandfather in Japan from the Navy supply store.

The constellation is just so elegant; it really is hard to beat IMHO.

I’ve been hunting a 1680 Red for a few months. Vintage prices are insane right now but I have noticed some sitting on dealer websites and not moving so they seem to be leveling off a bit and cooling down. Daytona being the lone exception.

Good luck.

That was my birth year watch and was able to pick one up before the prices went crazy.

Ok…. Excuse my ignorance, but who makes that watch?
