Pizza was OK but they were incredibly cheap

Chalet Brandt under Charles Brandt(went to OLOM with his kids), Mobil star rated(only one in BR history), European trained, fabulous food, Larry Masciaz(CIA chef of Maci's fame) just one of his many understudies. Grew up in Tara nearby. Ate there 10 or so times, had parental doggy bag leftovers probably another 15 times. Tapered off in quality over the latter years.
Knew some guys that made way more waiting tables there than they did for some time after graduating college, regardless of it being unreported cash..true story.
Followed by Mandina's, then Another Broken Egg, now Velvet Cactus.
