New Generation Electronics on Florida Blvd. that place was the shite. Got my Kentwoods there. I remember when they would have Pump It Up contests in the parking lot. That was around ‘88-90.

Yep. On Friday nights they’d have those spotlights out that we could see all the way out in Central. I bought my first album there and much audio equipment through the teen years.

Those type places will never exist again.

Howard Brothers was always a favorite because they had a sporting goods section.
Spent lots of time in Montgomery Ward, Wilson’s, Service Merchandise, And Sears.

Anyone remember the ton of Crown Royal they carried at K&B? During the holidays before the new year, they seemed like they had enough to supply all of America with some Crown. They didn't play around when it came to their alcohol stock.

Old New Generation Commercials on YouTube

Funny how some prices are so low but some are way expensive compared to today. Freaking microwaves must have been made of gold back then.

10 pages and no Krauss?!?!

It didnt close until 1997 - queen size lingerie, food counter in the mezzanine, appliances, fabric, furniture, right in front of the good project

It had everything - I loved that place
