New Orleans?
Cajun County - Mamou, Eunice, Iota
Houma/Thibodaux?
Baton Rouge?
Shreveport?
---

I'm afraid to lump Mobile in here, but for those who have been, how does it stack up to the others?

I see you've never been to Mamou/Eunice/Church Point

That's true traditional Mardi gras. I think I'd die though.

I guess if you're some backwoods person, sure. I've done it before and prefer NOLA by a lot.

ETA: And I don't mean that as a slight even though it looks like one. It's a fun time, but not more enjoyable than NOLA Mardi Gras.

I’m in New Orleans so that’s my obvious favorite. Never had the desire to attend another city who tried to duplicate actual Mardi Gras.

Mardi Gras February 3, 2008

Superbowl XLII was on that night, and Eli beat the Pats

I was in high school and remember running from spot to spot trying to find a tv. Bacchus was running. Finally got a TV and saw "the catch" with Tyree. What a night.

Okay

No one does it better and it’s not even a debate worth the time trying to create.
