Paskoff was an excellent teacher, and tests were fair but tough. You learned a lot in his class. The history department was excellent when I attended. .

Roussell wasn't my favorite, but he was a good professor and has passion for Econ. Like someone else said, he made the subject really interesting and he prepared you really well for the final. He was always open to help me as much as he could in his office if I didn't understand something.

Agreed. Had him for mirco, macro, and money & banking. Wasn't one of my favorites, but I didn't hate his classes. The only real shitty thing I remember him doing was when there was a fire alarm during the middle of an exam. He cancelled the test and made our final worth 60% of our grade.

Favorites: Kirby, Sauley, Cliff Stephens, Danos, and Breaux.

Least Favorite: Walter Morales. Was a huge prick when he decided to show up. His TA that he would send over to teach class in his place was hot though.

Where do I start?

I can honestly say I didn't have a bad History teacher. Hardy, Foster, Roider, Hilton, were all great. Even Cohen was pretty good, if a bit dull and nasally.

Dr. Davidson in Finance (BLaw) was the best teacher I had in the Business School.

Had a nice looking grad student from Paris for my first two French classes. Dominique, you rock!

The absolute worst was Joy Irwin in Accounting. I never knew anyone who liked her. She had the build of a linebacker and the grace and personality of a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Kerry Sauley is THE best. Hands down.

Honorable mention to Joni Butcher for her COMM class. And Eubanks for Poli Sci.
Outland for HIST2057 was good too.

I also liked Grimes for History of Jazz

Ben fricking Martin for least favorite. I wouldn't spit on that man if he were on fire.

I actually enjoyed his lectures. His tests sucked a thousand dicks though.

Simon for BLaw was horrible too. The guy just rambles for an hour and a half

There was a guy that taught some Greek and roman mythology class that was awesome. Can't think of his name but he was always rated 99% on aroundu back in 2003-2005ish.

Achberger is awesome. I hope he is still teaching, and became a full professor (I think he ran afoul of bullshite politics).

All virology professors I had were horrible too. I HATED the "select all that are true, partial credit for correct answers, 100% wrong for one incorrect answer" format combined with the general lecture format. I think he got ran off because he got huge federal grants and really didn't do anything with them but pay himself essentially.

Other great biology professors:
Waldrop
Wischusen
Gary King (I wish more instructors followed his format, only other one I saw at LSU was Tusa from the English dept)

The horrible:
Bricker

Okay instructor, but insufferable human being:
LiCata

Did he not lose graduate faculty status in the 00's? I assume he could not seek promotion in rank to full professor in that case. Very strange case with him and LiCata, who I think was in the same boat.

My only B's were because I just showed up for the tests in classes where you couldn't just read the book to get an A.

Congratulations on not being a University Medalist, pussy.

Wayne Parent was also the man.

I had him for Race, Film, and Politics. Holy Moses, how that man kept students from rioting is beyond me. Great class.

Granger Babcock over in the Honors College was my favorite. I'm not sure if I had a least favorite.

William Demastes, English. He taught the 4000 level Shakespeare class and made it fun. We did a scene reenactment as our final grade in celebration of the Bard's birthday. He also ended class on funny notes often, such as remarking that "Guys want a girl who will go fishing and hunting, isn't afraid to get dirty, watches football, etc. Girls want a guy who won't complain about shopping, seeing chick flicks, etc. Basically, guys want to date guys and girls want to date girls. You're all gay!" Also saw him at baseball games a lot so A+

Loved him.

Hands down Roussel was the worst ever, very close behind him was Thomas Kutter of the physics department. He refused to curve tests when the class average was less than 50.

Some jack hole Differential Equations professor named Britt. Napoleon complexed Millsaps grad. I pity the folks who didn't transfer to another class.

Paul Britt was a much better diff eq teacher than Borris Reuben. I think Britt was the head of the math department. His tests were kind of tough I guess but he was a good teacher.

Favorites - Reed for REL 1000 and 2000, Kevin Smith for Honors Organic Chem I and II, and Harold Toups for ChE Sr Lab.

Least favorite - Borris Reuben for diff eq (dude never had a set grading scale for final grade. Said "I just look at collective work and give you whatever grade I think you deserve.") His class was the only one I took a W in at LSU.

+1 for blackwood for screen writing. Also Featherston in Journalism school and Bolner for Poli Sci.

Marsh something or another in Biology. I hope I run into that dickhead someday.
