My mom did, too. They were addictively good. I, too, have looked for them as recently as the last month. Oh, well. I bet there's a copycat recipe out there.

My wife has a recipe for these. She only makes them around Christmas. Also, I agree with the poster that said Lemon Coolers.

Just did a simple search for “Danish Wedding Cookies” and one of the 1st links was to Amazon. So I checked the WalMart app.
Apparently the “migrants” have taken over the wedding cookie industry and the Danes have been replaced:

Get those Keebler chip cookies that are thick and are decorated with colored M&Ms. Those are about 200 calories each. It's a good substitute.
