Fathers of sons, give some advice you hope they’ll read some day.

The daughter thread has me thinking...our sons need us more than ever. They need the man in their life they can look up to. A boy needs his daddy to help him one day be a daddy himself. So Give some advice to your boy.
To my son
Son I’m writing you this letter,
That I hope someday you’ll read,
Maybe these words,
They can help you understand,
They’re unfiltered and they’re honest,
Just some lessons that I’ve learned,
Trust me son, take some advice,
From your old man,
Wake up in the morning,
Cause a wasted day is one,
You can’t get back,
You’ll wish you could,
When you grow old,
Tell mama you love her,
Every chance you get to say,
‘Cause she’ll be the one,
Who’s got your back,
When the world is cold,
And make your word,
As good as gold,
Cause your reputation,
Is all you’ve got,
So you best live up,
To your name,
and if you find yourself,
In a bad situation,
Call up a friend,
To get you out,
No matter what,
And feel no shame,
And learn the times,
That you should bend,
But don’t be broken,
And never cross,
The lines that you draw,
In the sand,
And don’t say things,
That you’ll regret,
Once you have spoken,
But if you do,
Apologize,
It doesn’t make you,
Less a man.
Do no harm,
To the ones,
Who don’t deserve it,
But if you’re forced,
To throw a punch,
Then don’t fight fair,
Take every angle you can get,
But pay up if you lose a bet,
Settle your debts,
Then get your dumb arse outta there,
And never bend the knee,
Unless you really mean it,
Or else you’ll spend your days,
A-crawlin on your knees,
Don’t call something true,
Until your eyes have seen it,
And say “yes ma’am, yessir,
Beg pardon, thank you, please”
Don’t worry about,
What people say,
But take a listen,
Because there’s times,
That they’ll be right,
and you’re just wrong,
Don’t be afraid,
To change your ways,
Adjust position,
But never compromise your code,
Just ‘cause it helps you get along,
It’s Easy to hate,
But the answer is love,
So don’t get caught up in the weeds,
Or seek advice from stars above,
And don’t give up the fight,
In the loneliest night,
‘Cause if you hold out ‘til the dawn,
The sun will rise, and you’ll go on,
And listen mister,
Help your sister,
And just try to understand,
Lord knows I tried,
To teach, provide,
You make me proud,
Love,
Your Old Man.

There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

And from the time I was only six years old
I never forgot what I was told
It was the best advice that I ever had
It came from my wise and dear old dad
He said, "Sit down, punk, I wanna talk to you.
And don't say a word until I'm through.
Now there's a time to laugh, a time to cry.
A time to live and a time to die.
A time to break and a time to chill.
To act civilized or act real ill.
But whatever you do in your lifetime
You never let an MC steal your rhyme."

You can talk until you're blue in the face, but some lessons have to (and will only) be learned the hard way.
Best advice I can give any parent is to protect your kid from harm, not consequences.

There are 2 things you can not buy, honor and integrity. You either have it or you don't.

So Give some advice to your boy.
1. Don't cum in em.
2. Passed Out means NO.
3. Never ever hit em back, even when they deserve it.

I can always trust you to give solid, if uncouth, advice

Don’t be envious of another man’s money or woman.

you've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything
You've got to be your own man not a puppet on a string
Never compromise what's right and uphold your family name

Be yourself and be confident in yourself. Authenticity goes a long way.

Daddy's hands weren't always gentle but I've come to understand
There was always love in daddy's hands
There was always love in daddy's hands

1. Never underestimate the other guy’s greed.
2. Fake it till you make it.
3. Bears make money, bulls make money. Hogs get slaughtered.

Show up when expected
Make them think you are indispensable.
Live below your means.
YOU are responsible for your situation, good or bad.
