Why would you think that?

It was a look of pure astonishment, and retardation.

I have a good idea of what it may have looked like.

That would have been quite the sight for your two other kids. Nothing a little therapy couldn't cure, right?

Very sad but you must be mentally prepared for crap like a spent shell down your shirt. Damn, that's terrible.

Some people want to turn everything into political fodder. Going to the shooting range for sport is legal in countries even with strict gun control laws. People make mistakes and they die. Playing contact sports is dangerous too.

My stomach sinks when I read stories like these. Being a dad is stressful. So much tragedy surrounds us.

I saw a couple of guys at the range showing a fat gal wearing a low cut shirt how to shoot a .22 semi-auto pistol.

She managed to get an ejected hot brass down her shirt right between the tits.

I thought one or more of us would be shot when she started dancing around and waving that pistol. People started ducking and dodging in a hurry. Fortunately, she did not squeeze the trigger.

I had a spent casing go down my shirt while shooting my last CHL qualification. Still managed to keep my gun pointed down range while removing it from my shirt. If you shoot then you have to know you'll get hit with hot brass every now and then. You have to be prepared for it.

Im a welder and have been burned many more times and by much hotter metal. NEVER have I taken the welding rod and try to satisfy the burn ( even when i first started ). Being aware of what you are doing at all times and realizing the the object in your hand can kill you or others is very fricking important. The father fricked up and his stupidity ended his sons life.

Stories like these are an even better case for gun control than the mass shootings. Lunatics will always find a way to kill people but good people wouldn't kill their sons if there were no guns. I'm not saying confiscate all of the guns in America but at the very least make them illegal to buy. Enough is enough

Canada and Australia have shooting ranges. This had nothing to do with gun control.

He couldn't "accidentally" shoot his son with any of those.
