I'm a big guy, about 280. And I don't eat that much really.

I had some cereal for breakfast, a small portion of shrimp and pasta salad for lunch. And I'll probably have a 6 subway sandwich when I get home.

That's about normal for me, sometimes even less.

The only times I've had much success staying skinny and/or losing weight was when I eat less than 1500 calories a day and run.

Not saying that I shouldn't exercise more. But acting like everyone that is overweight sits around eating McDonald's and cupcakes while chugging regular cokes is dumb.

I know plenty if skinny people that eat 4 times the amount I do.

Fatties should have self restraint and not be disgusting.

On the other side of the coin, corporations make money by making people consume more. They literally try to make their horrible foods addictive to get more people eating them and to drive profits. They are the real problem imo

It's not hard at all, you just don't have the will power to do it.

1. What you're eating isn't at all conducive to a healthy lifestyle
2. I can almost guarantee you are lying to yourself about hoe much you eat. Track it for a couple weeks and you'll see that you are consuming much more than you think you are.

Doubtful, but if true, it's because they excercise. You aren't immune to science.

You’re stuffing your fat face full of carbs and SUGAR. You are an addict much like an alcoholic you are addicted to sugar. Stop being fat and fast. Break the addiction by fasting and you will lose weight.

Your local drug dealing doctor and the government are purposefully creating a dependent class with their sugar and carb addictions. They profit greatly from fatasses and type 2 diabetes which is preventable!

I know how much I eat, I don't need to track it.

I've been this way my whole life. I grew up with a health nut for a mom, we ate vegetables almost exclusively in the summer. Side salads with every meal, etc.

My friends on the other hand ate hot pockets, little Debbie's, etc. And they'd be skinny as a rail.

Metabolism does exist ya know, that's science.

Almost 0% chance.

Pretty much irrelevant especially when you put a half pound of ranch and croutons on your salad.

You're right, and science says that it has little to do with the obesity epidemic in this country. Especially the "my metabolism slowed down at 40" myth.

I don't eat carbs every day, my point was the amount I eat. It's not like I'm stuffing my face all the time with fast food like many of you seem to think every fat person does.

No croutons or ranch, not even cheese. So try again.

Usually homemade Italian with olive oil.

By what you described above, that's almost exclusively what you eat.

Keep making my excuses for being fat. Do a 10 day water fast and I guarantee you will lose weight. Once complete eat <20g of carbs daily. Your body will eat away your body fat. You won’t do it because you’re lazy and scared to work.

There is a very, VERY small chance this is true. You can lie to yourself and continue to be a fatass or you can look yourself in the mirror and make changes. You seem to want to do the former and live in an excuse filled false narrative.

That was today, yesterday I had homemade chicken stirfry with fresh veggies without a sugary sauce before you assume that.

Even if your metabolism is slow you should still be losing weight if you’re really eating around 1500 calories.

I don’t know your whole situation but the whole “my slow metabolism” seems to be the excuse for a lot of overweight people when in truth very, very few people actually have super low metabolisms.

Again I don’t know your specifics so I’m not saying that excuse applies to you, just saying it’s a common excuse.

I've lost weight and kept it off for a good while twice. Both times it was eating very low amounts of calories and running a couple miles every day. Even then I was only around 180. And I felt lightheaded and unhealthy most of the time.

That's what I said I was what I was eating when I did lose weight.

Now I probably eat around 2000 a day.

Look, like I said, you can continue to lie to yourself, but there is bullshite somewhere. You don't weigh three bills eating 1500 calories a day. Even if you do have a slow metabolism (and you don't) you still wouldn't be that big. Those are the facts. You can deny them all you want, but science applies to you just like everyone else. You arent going to start floating as long as you're on this planet either.

Yet again, I said that was what I was eating the times I lost weight.
