I’m jealous! I always wanted to eat there as a kid because we always drove by a closed down Fast Track.

They weren't that great. Everyone will say it was the best thing ever but it's just nostalgia. We ate from the Siegen Location almost every week in the 80s-93.
But now, Jack in the Box's Jumbo Jack is exactly the same.

My first job was the Fast Track on Sullivan. I was 17 and made $3.25/hr.

A meal for $2.07 (with tax). I remember scraping up change to go there when things were lean.

When I was in the respiratory program at SLU’s school of nursing on Essen, I’d always hit up a Fast Track burger on my way home for the weekend in Metry. By the time I hit Laplace, I’d feel the biggest shite coming on. I couldn’t even make it home, I’d have to stop at that hotel off Loyola to drop one.

And you did this every time you went home for the weekend? Sounds like you enjoy feeling that poop against your sphincter

Seasoned fries were great, burgers not so much.

If I remember right, they were one of the first places to have seasoned fries.

I always liked the Fast Track burgers.
You could get one with chili on it for $1!

There's one inside the gas stop at the foot of the Sunshine bridge at LA 70 and 3125

Didn’t one location turn into Fast Track stone yard after they close down? It became a landscape supply place but they kept the name and sign.

Not really, it was just lunch, and I had to pass Fast Track on the way home...
